<!-- wp:paragraph --> I just sent a video to my family showing this behavior of a cardinal using a stone when attacking my truck mirror. I had never seen this before. I was able to capture it really well as I had been sleeping in the truck during turkey hunting. My wife sent your post to me in which you had observed this same behavior. My guess is that cardinals using stones to attack their reflective foe in the mirror is more common than we think.
